I needed a dress for prom, that was classy, but still original and stylish - and that's what I got!
Plus it looked exactly like what I had imagined looking at the picture, and fitted me perfect!
The only minus is, that a few threads were hanging out.

This dress is simply amazing! From the sweat heart neckline to the flowy skirt, it adds sophistication and eleganace with every move. The material is rich and soft. Order a size up because it runs slightly small. I am a size 2 and I ordered a size 4. It fit perfectly, yet still left enough room for a 5 course meal at dinner. It's not heavy at all. The straps are thin but do not feel fragile: held the dress well. This is hands down my favorite dress!

fits true to size, I am 5'10 and about 135 lbs and a size 2 is what i usually fit in french connection and it fit perfectly. I ordered the almond cream dress is it was more of a beige color than expected, overall very cute and flattering. Also, i received the dress (with standard shipping) in only two days!

I've been looking for a dress to wear to a family wedding in the summer nonstop for a week straight; I came upon this and knew this was it. I read the reviews that it was pretty small and I'm usually a 4/6 and got an 8 just in case. Although it is pretty big on me, I probably could've gone with a 6 but was scared about ordering a final sale dress. People also said this dress was kind of heavy, but I've worn dresses 10x as heavy as that and this dress is great. The zipper is a little tough at the top so have someone help you, gently. Its very flowy and you could see my underwear when I twirled. The colors a little darker than the picture (I have the Comet color) but I'm fine with that. I absolutely love this dress and can't wait to find shoes to go with it. Leave it on a hanger, because it will get wrinkled. Also, I got it after it went on sale ($268 to $129) and then got an extra 20% off from a promo code so with shipping I paid ($103 + $8 +tax) $114. Really great deal. And it arrived after just 2 days even though I paid for regular ground. :)

I'm 5'2, 110 lbs, 34b, 25inch waist. I am usually a size 0 but due to the reviews I went with a 2. Very glad I did because it fits almost perfectly. 0 would've been too tight! The straps are about 1/2 inch too long for me (but then again I am on the petite side) but that can be easily fixed. It's a BEAUTIFUL dress, very well made, looks expensive.. HOWEVER.. I struggled with pulling the zipper up in the back. There is a lot of resistance right where the silk and embroidered sections meet. Also the dress makes me look pregnant due to the extra ruffles in the front. Despite these factors, I'm too in love with the dress and will keep it. Will wear it on evenings out!

This is the first item I've ordered from French Connection. The quality is great, and it arrived only a couple days after I ordered it. It was packaged well and clearly care was taken to ensure it would arrive in good condition. It's a beautiful product. The only reason I hesitate to give it a full 5 stars in each category is because I will have to do a little tailoring to the straps since I am much shorter in the shoulders than the dress is made for. Also, the color is completely different than it looks online. I thought it would be almost pure white, but it's basically a taupe or champagne color. The embellishments are beautiful and well made, but they make the dress heavy and I'm concerned the straps might be too fragile for it. I haven't worn it out yet, so we'll see. Overall a really great product. I will definitely order from French Connection again.

Very disappointed. I had bought other FC dresses a couple of years ago and they were awesome, and now every dress that I have tried is huge!! The sizing has changed and quality has gone down :(

wow! what a beautiful dress!! If you want to wow the one you're with, I would suggest purchasing this dress. the color and flow of it is simply "delicious!" Ask Rachel Zoe. A nude colored flowy dress is "magical" highly reccomend.

Very pretty dress. I agree with the other reviewer, the dress is pretty heavy, but it still looks flowy when you put it on. The zipper is a little hard to zip up and gets caught easier, so just be careful and zip it up slowly. I'm between a 4 and 6, so ordered a 6 since French Connection tends to run small. It fits nicely and not too tight around the bust. I have a 28in waist, 34B cup size, 5'4. Can't wait to wear it!

The dress is a bit heavy, not light and airy like the photo. I usually wear dress size 2 and I couldn't zip all the way up with this one. The beading is beautiful but too delicate.
