I needed a dress to attend a wedding and I wanted something classic and elegant that I could wear for many different occasions; the London dress fit the bill perfectly. It's beautiful and well made, very flattering. I'm glad that I took the reviewers' advice regarding size though, I usually wear a 2 but I fell into a size 4 according to the size chart. The reviews all said to go a size up because it runs small, which it does. I ended up ordering a size 6 and its perfect everywhere except for the length, but I'm 5'2, so I kind of expected that. For the price, even having to pay someone to take the hem up a little, it's still a great deal, especially comparing it to similar dress I've seen.

Lacy but not Racy

Pros: Great look
A subtle lacy cocktail dress that is fitted but forgiving. The fabric has just enough stretch to keep a nice silohuette. The aubergine color is understated and the lace is not too overpowering.

I looked carefully at the size chart to figure out which size would fit. The dress is 3" smaller around the waist than the size chart said it would be. So, of course, it does not fit at all :( Overall, it is VERY small.

This dress is very pretty on and very flattering. It's a little longer so it probably is better for someone with longer legs. I am usually a dress size 4 in most brands but I generally need a 6 in FC. I did get a 6 in this dress and it was perfect. Get your normal FC size or one up from your normal dress size.

I absolutely love this dress! It is perfect for any occasion with proper type of shoes and accessories. I ordered 1 size up as was suggested on the website and it fits perfectly. The length is just below knees which is exactly what my style is ( I am 5'10).

This dress is a perfect fit and very true to size. The purple and black contrast is very striking and beautiful. The dress is a little long for me (I am 5' 4" but it is nothing my tailor cannot take care of). The price of this dress to me was a steal! I completely love this dress!!!!

While this is a pretty dress, ordered up from my usual size based on the size chart. When it arrived it is at least two sizes too small, still. I couldn't lift my arms high enough to zip it. The quality was the last thing on my mind as I tried to peel it off my body and send it back, fast!

I must say that I love this dress! I recently wore it to a wedding and received so many positive compliments. Some said I was best dressed, second to the bride ;) If you want to look stunning and classy definitely order this dress!
